Heartwarming moment an elderly woman is reunited with her missing cat after four years

I can’t even imagine how heartbreaking it must be to lose a furry companion. But, unfortunately numerous people have experienced that feeling and while for many of them, a reunion day had never come, for some of them the miracle came, just when they thought the less. Unfortunately, Dora – a senior woman in Italy, have been forced to taste of that extremely sad experience, after her beloved cat has fled due to a devastating earthquake.

After an earthquake struck the Southern Italy a few years ago, just as many people out there, Dora lost everything. But even though she lost her home, the elderly’s biggest concern was the lost of her furry friend. The woman was living alone, so a cat to comfort her and offer her love and cuddles was all what she had. Given the gravity of the situation, Dora was not sure if her cat is still alive. But she never gave up hope.

Miraculously, four years after the terrible events, just when Dora started to have more and more doubts she’d see her four-legged friend again, the kitten went back home. As you can imagine, the senior woman could not believe her eyes when reunited with her old friend. Thankfully, a neighbor has captured on camera the heartwarming reunion.

“Our dear Dora has never stopped looking for him,” the neighbor wrote in a Facebook post. “Who knows where he had have been for so long.” Even he was missing for over four years, the loyal cat looked in very good shape.
