When Robert brought the brothers to the foster home to see their sisters, all burst out crying. They all missed their siblings and didn’t want to separate from each other.

There was something that tightened inside when the single dad saw that scene. He could feel what the siblings felt as he used to live in foster care. He even had 9 siblings and didn’t see his youngest brother from the time he was two until he was sixteen. This hurt.

“They didn’t want to leave each other, and at that moment, I knew, ok, I have to adopt all five,” he said.
