How your dog gets into depression and how to help them out of it?

Depression is something so spread in the world today. It is estimated that half of the world’s population suffers from depression at some point in time during their lives. But humans are not the only beings that might go through depression. If you have a dog and he is being unusual lately, it might be a sign that your dog might be going through a tough emotional time. After all it is proven that just like us, dogs have emotions and they are even able to see dreams.

Your dogs might get into depression for a lot of reasons. It might be something as simple as weather change or something severe as losing a companion or his owner. Your dog won’t tell or talk but he might be down, not wanting to get out and experience loss of appetite. Other reasons might get your dog depressed like sickness or old age. Your dog might even feel sad or blue if his routine is ruined or if you get a new house or new people around, like a new baby or a new roommate. Be very careful to read the signs

What should you do about it? What do you do if your best friend is depressed? You might take him out for a walk. It is scientifically proven that when you move, your physiology changes and that changes your mind and your mood. So go play catch with your pup. Maybe you need to take him to the vet to check for diseases of old age. Rewarding your dog for being happy can also be a great simulation.
