This energy meridian is connected with the liver, so getting up at this time is associated with anger and an excess of yang energy. If you want to get some good night’s sleep, drink some cold water and meditate.

#4. Waking up between 3 and 5 a.m. can mean that a Higher Power is reaching out to you.

This meridian is related to the lungs and to emotions of sadness. Waking up around this time might mean that a Higher Power is signaling you so as to guide you to your higher purpose. If you want to go back to sleep, try breathing slowly or praying.

#5. Waking up between 5 and 7 a.m. has to do with emotional blockages.

The flow of energy during this time is in the large intestines. Getting up at this time can also mean an emotional blockage, and if you want to continue sleeping, try stretching a little or maybe using the bathroom.
