A 35-year-old social media influencer married her 20-year-old stepson after splitting from his father, who is 45 years old.

 

Marina Balmasheva, who hails from Krasnodar Krai in Russia, lived with her ex-husband Arrey and his son for more than 10 years. And after a decade long marriage, Marina and Alexey decided to part ways.

After the divorce, Maria found love in her 20-year-old stepson Vladimir ‘Voya’ Shavyrin.

The couple had plans of getting married at the beginning of 2020. But their plans were delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

They finally tied the knot last week at a registry office. A wedding photo and a video of the couple signing legal documents of marriage have received thousands of likes and views.

“After the registry office, we dressed in typical wedding attire and enjoyed a nice reception at a local restaurant with several guests,” said Maria.

The influencer added that the wedding has not affected the relationship in any way. However, Marina and Vladimir admitted they are no longer in speaking terms with Arrey.

The couple is now expecting a baby and has plans of moving to a bigger city.

During the 10-year-long marriage, Marina and Alexey adopted four children, who are all with the father now after he won custody.

Marina became a well-known face in Russia after appearing in a documentary that showed her weight loss journey.
