Woman is ordered by police to open her car boot – Read what happens next!

Getting stopped by the police is not something that anyone would look forward to. But sometimes, we get stopped and we find out that it isn’t a cause for worry at all.

We tend to hear of a lot of workers who go above and beyond and this is certainly the case in this story.

Chy-Niece was heading to a job interview when she received a blue light indication by the police to pull over. Scared and worried, she immediately stopped. Chy-Niece was thinking to herself that she was sure that she wasn’t speed, so what could she have done wrong?

As she pulled over and took out her driving license and registration details. To her surprise, she was faced with a smiling police officer who told her that her brake lights were not working.

Officer Jenkins advised her that she needed to get the sorted out. That was the last thing that Chy-Niece needed. After all, she was heading to a job interview to resolve her income issues and the last thing she wanted was a police fine to add to her other bills.

But officer Jenkins didn’t do what she expected i.e take out his form to write out a fine. In fact, he went that extra step to make her day run smoothly.

She posted on Facebook what happened:

“So this happened just now. I’m on my way to go to my interview this morning when I get pulled. Both brake lights decided to go out this time. As he walked to the car and I was pulling out my stuff, he quickly said…”

“Don’t worry about pulling anything out. I just want you to know your brake lights are out”

“So I’m immediately upset because I just got them replaced last month. So I explained to him how Firestone wants to charge me $600 just to run a test on the wiring of the car.”

“He looked at me (like he knew this was crazy) and told me to pop the trunk…”

“He checked the lights in the trunk and tapped them, but they didn’t come on. So he told me to pop the hood to check the relay box then asked me to get out to check the other one.”

“He could have easily given me a ticket, but Officer Jenkins stepped out of officer role and into mechanic role to make sure I was straight.”

Given all the bad things that we hear all the time happening all over the world, these small gestures of kindness really give us hope that the world is not so bad after all.

Going the extra mile to help someone out is something that is appreciated by all of us. It also encourages us to do the same.

Random acts of kindness really make a difference in our lives.
