No one understands why dad still sends ex-wife roses – then he reveals the incredible truth

There is no doubt that having a good relationship with an ex is always a good idea especially if you are divorcing your partner and you have children together… there is nothing like peace & love.

Although some people don´t believe that this can actually be possible, there are others like this man who firmly believe that keeping civil after a divorce is something that all ex-couples should consider.
Billy Flynn Gadbois is the name of the man who wrote a Facebook post about how he woke up early on his ex-wife´s birthday to buy her flowers, cards and breakfast ingredients so his kids could surprise their mom.
This is the post he wrote:

“It’s my ex-wife’s birthday today so I got up early and brought flowers and cards and a gift over for the kids to give her and helped them make her breakfast. Per usual someone asked me why the hell I still do things for her all the time. This annoys me. So ima break it down for you all.

I’m raising two little men. The example I set for how I treat their mom is going to significantly shape how they see and treat women and affect their perception of relationships. I think even more so in my case because we are divorced. So if you aren’t modeling good relationship behavior for your kids, get your shit together. Rise above it and be an example. This is bigger than you.

Raise good men. Raise strong women. Please. The world needs them, now more than ever.”
Billy´s message is powerful and eye-opening! What he says is true and makes a lot of sense.
For so many reasons, it may not be possible for couples to find a good solution as this man did, especially if all the breaking-up/divorce process is difficult and both people are angry and frustrated. It is always good to try and get along with your ex, for the sake of your kids and for your mental health.

What do you think about this?

Children do not do as we say, they do as we do. Please share Billy’s words to inspire more people to show consciousness, love and care when it comes to children during separations!
