Michael Cicconetti has always loved animals, as a young boy he shared a special bond with his dog a dachshund mix named Herman. Herman was his best friend, and marked the beginning of his infinite love for animals. Today, he enjoys the company of his big and fluffy Bernese mountain dog named Kasey.
Early on in his career, Judge Mike had noticed that there were a lot of animal abuse and neglect cases that involved repeat offenders. Initially, he had sentenced them to both jail time and a fine, but that did not solve the problem, people would keep on making animals suffer in all kinds of ways and what not.
Now Judge Michael Cicconetti is getting a lot of attention due to his very particular sentences. When he makes a final decision about a case, he tries to be creative in order to teach offenders a valuable lesson, but not any kind of offenders; he wants animal abusers to stop for good.
Judge Mike said that his punishments aren’t going to put anyone in danger, but “that doesn’t mean that they can’t deal with a little discomfort and embarrassment.”For example, a dog was found living in total filth, so Judge Mike decided she should spend an entire day at the filthy, smelly local dump. She, of course, wasn’t thrilled, but Judge Mike had some things to say to her:
“I want you to go down to the county dump, to the landfill, and I want them to find the stinkiest, smelliest, God-awful odor place they can find in that dump and I want you to sit there for eight hours tomorrow, to think about what you did to that dog while you smell the odor. If you puke, you puke.”
In another case, a woman abandoned 35 kittens in the woods. The judge sentenced her to spend a night in the cold woods by herself, same thing she did for those poor animals, in addition to jail time and a fine:
“How would you like to be dumped off at a metro park late at night, spend the night listening to the coyotes … listening to the raccoons around you in the dark night, and sit out there in the cold not knowing where you’re going to get your next meal, not knowing when you are going to be rescued?”
This man is just looking for a different way to solve the problem with animal abusers. He wants to give this people a taste of their own medicine; he wants them to go through the same horrible situation.
What do you think about these creative sentences?
