Mommy, 98, Moves Into Care Home To Look After Her 80-Year-Old Son Since “You Never Stop Being A Mum”

There is absolutely nothing more powerful than the love between a mom and her kid, and this story is the ideal example of how strong this bond actually is. Ada Keating, 98, has joined her oldest kid Tom, 80, in Moss View care home in Liverpool to care for him, and they get along completely great.

Ada and her late spouse Harry had four kids– Tom, Barbara, Margi and Janet, who passed away at just 13. Prior to his retirement, Tom worked as a painter and decorator at HE Simm building services, then located on Prescot Road. Tom became a local at Moss View in 2016 due to the fact that he needed more assistance.

Ada and her son are inseparable and enjoy spending time together– especially playing games and enjoying Emmerdale. “I say goodnight to Tom in his space every night and I'll go and state good morning to him,” Ada, a former auxiliary nurse, said. “When I head out to the hair stylists he'll look for me to see when I'm coming back. When I return he'll pertain to me with his arms outstretched and provide me a huge hug.”
Tom mores than happy with how things are going as well. “They're excellent here and I more than happy to see my mum more now she lives here. She's great at caring for me. Often she'll state ‘Behave yourself!'”.

” It's very touching to see the close relationship both Tom and Ada share and we are so happy we were able to accommodate both of their needs,” manager of the facility, Philip Daniels, said. “It's very unusual to see moms and their children together in the same care house and we definitely wish to make their time together as special as possible.”.
As Ada said, “You never ever stop being a mum.”.

The internet was in awe because of this bond between a caring mom and a loving boy
