Just shy of a month after finalizing his divorce from Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt was spotted out in public with a new look that many netizens found less than favorable.
Hollywood icon Brad Pitt, 61, debuted his salt-and-pepper beard and mustache during a recent public excursion in Hollywood, where he was seen driving around in his car on January 22, 2025. This widely discussed new look deviates from the clean-shaven style the actor sported last year (2024) when he was filming his upcoming movie.

Pitt's recent excursion, where he deviated from the clean-shaven look he sported while filming “F1,” comes nearly a month after finalizing his long-running divorce from fellow A-lister Angelina Jolie.
The former couple officially signed off on their divorce on December 30, 2024, bringing an end to a process that spanned several years.
Jolie's lawyer, James Simon, confirmed the news in a statement to People, explaining, “More than eight years ago, Angelina filed for divorce from Mr. Pitt. She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family.”
Continuing, he added, “This is just one part of a long ongoing process […] Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”
A source close to Jolie further shared that she is working to move forward and maintain positivity, saying, “She doesn't speak ill of [Pitt] publicly or privately. She's been trying hard to be light after a dark time.”
The divorce that took many years to finalize began back in September 2016, when Jolie filed to dissolve her marriage to Pitt after two years of being husband and wife.
According to the filing obtained by People, the pair had been separated since September 15 of that year (2016), with Jolie citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.
At the time, Jolie, then 41, requested physical custody of their six children while asking for Pitt to be granted visitation rights. Notably, she did not request child or spousal support.
“This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting at this time and asks that the family be given their privacy during this difficult time,” divulged her attorney at the time of the divorce announcement.
Now, nearly a decade later, both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie seem to be turning the page — Jolie focusing on family and healing, while Pitt embraces a new chapter in both his personal life and career.
