Netizens are unimpressed with what Jessica Williams did to Harrison Ford during her speech at the SAG Awards. The two are co-stars in a drama series.
On February 23, 2025, Hollywood stars stepped out to attend the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles, California. Among the A-listers was Jessica Williams who shared banter with iconic actor and her “Shrinking” co-star Harrison Ford during her speech. However, many social media users found her actions unnecessary and they expressed disdain for how she jokingly yelled at Ford.
Radiating beauty in a shimmering gold dress from her seat in the audience, Williams began, “Los Angeles is known as the city of dreams. And sure enough, all of my dreams have come true here.” As she spoke, a camera zoomed in to show a close-up of her face.
Seated behind Williams at the same table was Ford, who looked at something outside of the camera's vantage point as he nibbled on some food, which appeared to amuse the audience.
Even Wiliams stopped her speech to chuckle at the legend's comedic antics before yelling, “I told him to turn away! Don't look!” As she yelled this, Ford continued to play along, turning his chair away from Williams.
The actress continued her monologue and when she finished, she whipped around to face Harrison Ford and the duo engaged in a playfight. While the SAG Awards crowd found the moment hilarious, online viewers were less receptive.
