Who Is Tyrus? A Look at His Wife, Children, Weight, and Net Worth

Who Is Tyrus? A Look at His Wife, Children, Weight, and Net Worth

WWE wrestler Tyrus is known for being tough, but he has a shocking depth that goes beyond his impressive height.

Besides being smart, clear, and sensitive, he has also shown that he can deal with personal problems, such as the fact that he comes from a difficult background and used to want to change the color of his skin.

Tyrus didn’t let his pain make him angry; instead, he used it to make himself stronger. The plot of this piece goes into great depth about Tyrus’s journey and his famous wife who went with him. The next few lines will talk about the different ways she helped him write his amazing story.

People who like wrestling probably know the 51-year-old wrestler known as Tyrus. He was the NWA World Heavyweight Champion once in his career and made a big difference in the ring.

He is still famous for many things besides how good he is at wrestling. An important part of his fame in the television news world is his work as a co-host on the late-night talk show Gutfeld! He also regularly appears on Fox News and Fox Nation.

At the same time, he didn’t take a straight path to become rich and popular. When we think about where he started, it’s hard to imagine how much he has changed for the better.

The start of Tyrus’s most important challenges: a tough start

Tyrus, whose real name was George Murdoch, was born on February 21, 1973, in Boston, Massachusetts. He has had an unusual way to success.

In spite of this, Tyrus’s early meetings were not always easy. When he was born, his mother was 15 and his father was 19. The two of them were kids. He was born in Los Angeles into a bad family and grew up there. Things got really bad when he was a little boy and his angry father hurt him and hurt his eye. After this happened, Tyrus’s mother and sister went with him to get away.

The fact that Tyrus and his brother were mixed-race meant that their grandparents’ house was not allowed to be their home. They were put in foster care. This is why they were put in foster care. Young Tyrus became “obsessed” with changing the color of his skin because he felt so badly about being turned down. He believed that this would bring him and his family back together.

Tyrus and his brother finally went back to their mother, who had worked nonstop to support them and often put in up to eighty hours of work a week. Because of her job, the family had to move every six months, so the idea of security changed a lot.

The matter was already hard to handle, but having a stepfather made it even harder. Tyrus went his own way because he didn’t want to accept this new dad figure when he was fifteen years old. He wouldn’t ask for help, even though he was poor and happy with his plight. He went into the changing room at school and wasn’t seen for a few nights.

Redeeming the world through sports

In the chaos, Tyrus found relief in sports, especially football.

I’m glad football saved my life. It’s not smart to be unsure. He later told the Lexington Clipper-Herald, “If it weren’t for football, I would be dead or in jail.”

Tyrus was able to make friends, learn how to be responsible, and find male role models through football. In particular, what is even more important? He found a cause he could fight for and a goal that was far away.

His teachers and coworkers not only kept him safe, but they also helped him figure out what he wanted to do with his life. The fact that he was good at football opened doors for him and let him learn more.

Early on, recruiters took notice of the tall offensive lineman. This helped him get a scholarship to go to Antelope Valley College and then the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK).

Tyrus was famous for being a big, skilled player on the University of North Dakota’s Lopers football team. Since the Lopers’ offensive line was so strong, no one wanted to take on the team, whose average weight was more than 300 pounds.

Even though Tyrus improved himself as a person while at UNK, that was more important than how well he did in sports. He learned through his growth how important it is to be disciplined, organized, and able to keep his word.

Still, he kept running even though his finances were tough. Tyrus has a bachelor’s degree in physical education, but he didn’t go to his 1998 graduation because he couldn’t buy a cap and gown. In later comments, he said that his choice to turn down the help request was also driven by his pride.

From a fight in a bar to a rising wrestling star

Tyrus took part in a number of tests for the National Football League, even though this information is not usually known. That didn’t work out, though, and a perforated appendix later ruined any hopes of a future at the highest level of sports.

After those awful stories came out in the news, Tyrus got a job as a night security guard and a replacement teacher during the day.

It’s very interesting to follow Tyrus as he started out in wrestling.

In the early 2000s, Tyrus was working as a security guard in a bar when two loud customer got into a fight. Right away, Tyrus stepped in to help settle the argument, which had been getting worse. “Clunk their little heads together and carry them out like a suitcase,” he laughed.

Tommy Dreamer, a professional wrestler, was first very interested in Tyrus because of how good-looking and strong he was. He was interested in Tyrus because he thought these things would look great on TV.

So, in 2006, Tyrus made his start in professional wrestling under the name Brodus Clay. After that, people started calling him “The Funkasaurus.” In 2014, he joined Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where his stage name, Tyrus, became well known. He was a part of TNA.

Then how did Tyrus get to Gutfeld? And Fox

Tyrus’s great charm was felt in the ring and also caught the attention of people who make TV shows.

I have to say that this story is really interesting. Tyrus started a funny conversation with show host Greg Gutfeld on social media, which led to a funny exchange between the two of them. Tyrus got an offer to be on the late-night show that mixes politics and satire. Gutfeld sent Tyrus an invitation because he liked what they had talked about.

Since 2016, Tyrus has been a regular guest on Fox News shows like “The Daily Briefing” and “Fox & Friends.” And while he was playing football, he was known for being a friendly guy, and the honest way he dealt with himself worked well on TV.

Tyrus is known for being honest all the time, which has helped him.

That’s not all, though; Tyrus has also tried to make acting his job. In addition to the scary movie No One Lives, he has also been in a number of TV shows, such as MacGyver, The Purge, and Syn.

This multitalented artist has written two books on their own and co-hosts the show Tyrus & The Wise Men. His book Just Tyrus: A Memoir came out in 2022 and was a big hit with readers of the New York Times. As a follow-up, he put out the record Nuff Said in 2023.

Who is Tyrus’s wife?

It was on January 7, 2024, that Tyrus married Ingrid Rinck Herbert, the woman he had been seeing for a while.

Tyrus’s personal life has been changed a lot by the rich businesswoman and exercise trainer Ingrid since the beginning of the 21st century. Ingrid Murdoch started The Rinck Routine, a brand of workout and lifestyle products that focus on living a healthy, whole life.

She also started Sensible Meals, a company that helps people meet their dietary goals by preparing meals. With her twenty years of experience as a personal trainer, she did this.

Tyrus talks about his wife from time to time, and every time he does, he always says nice things about her. It was Tyrus who called Ingrid “chief of staff, top dog, number one, and queen of my tiny wild kingdom.” The Tyrus have a lot of love for Ingrid.

Also, they let people see their strange collection of foreign reptiles from their house in Mandeville, Louisiana, which is in a good spot in Louisiana. The couple is living on a house in New Jersey right now.

The daughter of Georgie Tyrus is here.

Georgie Rose Murdoch was born on May 7, 2014, and she is the child of her parents’ marriage.

The year 2024 finds Georgie to be 10 years old and most likely in elementary school.

Tyrus and Ingrid have kept their family life pretty quiet since at least 2014, but they often post pictures of their daughter on social media.

With a touching note about her daughter’s love of horseback riding, Ingrid sent a picture of her daughter Georgie riding a horse on August 6, 2024.

“The confidence and poise this sport is inspiring in my daughter are really amazing.” She really loves cleaning her horse from head to tail the right way and pays a lot of attention to it. The horse center we found in New Jersey and the other moms whose kids compete against Georgie are very important to us. Please thank you very much. They made us feel very welcome and gave us information that was pretty useful for the sport. In all honesty, we have found a pretty amazing place.

Tyrus also helped his daughter develop her natural interest in horseback riding. Georgia is new to the sport, but she has already done well in events with her loyal old horse, Rosevelt, whom she calls Teddy. There has been a long time since Georgie last rode Rosevelt.

The exact number of children Tyrus has is unknown.

A lot of different websites say that Tyrus is a loving and dedicated dad to five kids. But Georgie is said to be the only child he has with his real parents.

Besides that, the ex-wrestler is the father of two grown children, Rhett and Rock, from relationships he had in the past.

Tyrus has a stepson named Rhett from a previous marriage. In 2021, he finished from Louisiana’s Mandeville High School. On May 6, 2021, his mother posted an honest message on Instagram, thanking the school for helping him and giving him advice, even though they had also lied to him.

Rock, Rhett’s younger brother, was born in Mandeville, Louisiana, USA. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2014. His pancreas is being affected by the sickness right now, and there is no way to cure it in any way. The Sensible Meals company, which is owned and run by Ingrid Rinck, has been very helpful in getting healthy meals to Rock.

“‘Friends’ saw my success with portion-wise controlled meals I created for my son and asked me to copy the recipes for them.'” Ingrid told Sophisticated Woman in 2018: “And that’s how my business got started.”

It’s clear that Tyrus loves his daughter with Ingrid, even though he does share some details about their lives on social media from time to time.

There were net assets for Tyrus.

Tyrus has made a lot of money over the course of his work. He is also a TV personality and an expert who is known for keeping things simple. From 2024 to 2025, this professional wrestler has an amazing three million dollar net worth. After that, he changed his attention to include acting and making comments. This shows that he was just as good at seeing opportunities as he was at beating his opponents in the ring.

He is known for having open views and acting bigger than life as a political commentator on Fox News, which he does. From different sites, it looks like he makes $45,700 a year.

On the other hand, Zippia and other pay websites say that Fox News donors make an average of $56,921 a year.

This story really interests me! Even though he’s been through a lot, Tyrus has become a professional wrestler, TV star, best-selling book, and most importantly, a loving husband and father. His struggles have been turned into something so inspiring, which is truly amazing.

Because of this story, people are encouraged to believe in second chances and the fulfillment of their true life purpose. Tell the people you care about about it, don’t keep it to yourself. We have two chances: to share what we know about Tyrus’s road and to show what determination is really like.
